MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Crazy World Calm Mind blog site is to provide you with science-based facts pertaining to happiness, and wellness-building activities that can be practiced on a daily basis to promote happiness, a calm mind and a lifetime of health and well-being.

Crazy World: The Challenge

What a crazy time we are living in. All of us are trying to make sense of the world as it is right now (the coronavirus pandemic, joblessness, financial concerns, and the civil unrest  to name a few). We are trying to find a path toward happiness and a future that is even brighter for everyone than the world as it has been before.

 How do we find happiness during times of adversity?

It is well documented that the key to happiness during times of adversity lies NOT in changing our circumstances (which we often can’t do). It lies in our INTENTIONAL ACTIVITIES: 

  1. What we do on a daily basis, and
  2. Habits of the mind (the attitudes and perspective from which we view the world) 

Calm Mind: The Resources

There has never been a better time for each of us to strengthen ourselves and support one another by consciously choosing the personal attitudes, actions and calmness of mind that will get us through each day with wisdom, clarity and generosity of spirit.
